Position Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Create brand and product awareness and preferences in favor of Air Techniques and its products among relevant dealer personnel and dentists
- Create maximum transparency with regard to defined market data of his/her area and input such data into the relevant systems, e.g. CRM
- Assist in organizing and executing events (i.e. National Trade Shows, dealer offices or dealer events) in his/her area
- Develop and execute actions in line with the specific, individual territory plans as agreed with the Regional Sales Manager
- Actively sell or support dealer sale of our products
- Coordinate all relevant activities between Dealer, Dentist and relevant internal departments
Business Planning
- Develop business plans, sales strategies for his/her area in line with the corporate targets for the region
- Derive from these plans dealer individual action plans for the sake of self-management and personal action planning
- Assist dealer reps in defining and implementing sales, marketing and action plans to increase their personal performance
- Contribute actively in defining yearly budgets for his/her area by dealer and product line
Business Tracking
- Continuous follow up and track execution as well as success of agreed actions
- Continuous monitoring on sales progress and initiate corrective actions if needed
- Report continuously relevant tracking results into the adequate corporate systems
- Prompt reporting of upcoming or existing product issues to Product Managers and Quality
Relationship Building
- Establish a reliable partnership with the dealers, dealer branch manager and personnel characterized by mutual trust, commitment and honesty
- Create and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, which is valued as being fair to all involved
Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years dental sales experience, including digital (preferred) or core equipment, with well-established relationships in dealer branches, dental offices and possibly DSOs in the relevant territory
- Have extensive experience with modern sales planning and tracking processes and software as well as with lead management
- Must be able to travel 50-75% of the time within assigned territory including Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, New Mexico and occasional overnight travel to other domestic and sometimes international locations
Core Skills Requirements:
- Strong focus on performance and achieving targets along with capability to set and communicate clear objectives
- Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong consulting, selling and closing capabilities; ability to analyze data and identify selling opportunities
- Strong team work and partnering along with equally strong influencing skills
- Strong technical aptitude (electronics, software and mechanical) to sell and offer solutions for our product lines
- Proficiency in business software, e.g. MS Office, CRM systems
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Technical degree (Bachelors or Associates Degree in Engineering) is a plus
