Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heating Air Conditioning Technician located in Memphis, TN. The individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Daily tasks may include diagnosing issues with HVAC systems, conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring that systems comply with relevant safety regulations. The technician will also interact with clients to understand their needs and provide technical recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation systems
- Knowledge of HVAC safety regulations, installation protocols, and system testing procedures
- Experience with tools and equipment required for HVAC servicing, including meters and power tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting with an emphasis on problem-solving
- Relevant certifications or licenses such as EPA certification or HVAC technician certification are preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical school degree related to HVAC systems is a plus
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and operate in various weather conditions
