What You Will Do:
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of excellence. You’ll be responsible for inspecting and auditing assembled and finished products, performing dimensional and first-part inspections, and reviewing blueprints, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams to verify accuracy and compliance. Your work will include approving incoming materials, monitoring production processes, and confirming the quality of finished goods. You’ll document and report inspection results, support manufacturing methods and procedures, and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in shop math, and a commitment to safety and innovation.

How You Will Do It:
  • Inspect incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual and measurement tests, and rejecting or returning non-compliant items
  • Inspect returned products to ensure they meet required specifications before re-acceptance or rejection
  • Monitor in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting inspections, and communicating adjustments to the production supervisor
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance, identify items requiring rework, and verify the quality of reworked items
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and waste, and entering data into the quality database
  • Support the organization’s quality goals by completing related tasks and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
  • Perform functional testing, various inspections, and audits as required
  • Operate analog, pneumatic, digital control, calibration, and test equipment (Inspector only)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and related documentation
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Apply shop math to support inspection and troubleshooting activities
  • Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve quality-related issues
What We Look For:
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an industrial assembly environment
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 or similar quality management systems
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic mathematical skills and general computer proficiency, including word processing
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving
  • Ability to handle challenges professionally without taking issues personally
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms
  • May occasionally climb stools or stairs, stoop, crouch, and maintain balance
  • Clear verbal communication and active listening are essential, along with visual acuity for reading printed materials and viewing computer screens
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move items weighing between 25 and 45 pounds
  • The role demands physical stamina and may occasionally require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek

Work Environment:
  • Exposure to a noisy, dusty industrial/manufacturing setting
  • Presence of non-toxic fumes, chemicals, grease, and oils
  • Work performed in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Frequent interaction with machinery and moving parts
  • Extended periods of standing or walking on hard concrete surfaces
