Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and maintain a valid fork truck license.
- Perform accurate alphabetical and statistical data entry.
- Use a 10-key calculator and operate printers efficiently.
- Understand and process factory orders, traveling requisitions, shipping/receiving documents, and related forms.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts.
- Apply shop math skills and interpret shop orders accurately.
- Utilize computer systems and related software applications for daily tasks.
- Report any work-related injuries or near misses to supervision promptly.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety/environmental protocols.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions within the plant.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Forklift certification required or must be obtained upon hire.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
