Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced Material Coordinator for its Leetsdale, PA facility.
The Microbulk Material Coordinator handles parts and assembles pre‑packaged installation kits for field technicians installing Microbulk equipment at customer sites. Kits include all required parts and instructions, are pre‑assembled for rapid shipment, and ensure installations can be completed in a single site visit.
In addition to handling Microbulk parts, the Microbulk Material Coordinator also assembles kits for the CE Liquid Bulk group and supports the Leetsdale warehouse.

This role is essential in handling parts for the Microbulk business by ensuring that parts are received, consolidated, assembled into installation kits, and shipped in a timely manner. Specific responsibilities include:
- Pre‑assembling Microbulk parts kits and processing daily reservations
- Ensuring shipment accuracy and single‑shipment completeness
- Coordinating with Specialists to ensure parts arrive one week prior to installation
- Communicating order cut‑off dates and escalating missing parts
- Tracking shipments to reduce lost parts and monitoring inbound deliveries
- Managing Microbulk inventory levels, safety stock, and blocked stock in SAP (e.g., copper tubing)
- Working with suppliers and Purchasing to track missing deliveries
- Recommending process improvements to streamline operations
- Support Liquid Bulk projects by fulfilling orders for Preferred Offering (PFO) kits
- Reduce shipping costs, including cutting 20‑ft pipe into 8‑ft lengths
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- SAP or comparable ERP experience strongly preferred
- Dependable, detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills to ensure shipments are completed on schedule
- This is a safety‑sensitive position
- This is a plant‑based position
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a one‑hour lunch
- On‑call rotation required once fully independent
