HVAC Install Manager – Residential HVAC

Full-Time | Leadership Position

Air Pro Heating, Air & Electric is looking for an experienced HVAC Install Manager to lead our residential installation department.

We're looking for more than a great installer. We need a leader who understands HVAC installation from start to finish, can develop installers, maintain high quality standards, reduce callbacks, and make sure every Air Pro installation is completed correctly and professionally.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise HVAC installation crews
• Coordinate daily and upcoming installation projects
• Review jobs before installation to identify potential issues
• Ensure equipment and materials are ready for each project
• Inspect completed installations for quality and workmanship
• Perform system startups and commissioning
• Verify airflow, static pressure, refrigerant charge, drainage, electrical connections, thermostat operation, and overall system performance
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and applicable codes
• Assist crews with difficult installations and technical problems
• Conduct post-installation quality-control inspections
• Help prepare installations for inspections
• Correct deficiencies before they become callbacks
• Manage first-year installation warranty issues
• Train and develop installers and lead installers
• Hold team members accountable for workmanship and company standards
• Monitor installation productivity and job completion
• Maintain communication with customers, office staff, comfort advisors, technicians, inspectors, and management
• Help manage installation materials and inventory
• Maintain accurate documentation and installation photos
• Protect the Air Pro reputation on every installation

What We're Looking For

• Strong residential HVAC installation experience
• Previous Lead Installer, Field Supervisor, Install Manager, or similar leadership experience preferred
• Excellent understanding of heat pumps, split systems, package systems, air handlers, furnaces, duct systems, controls, and accessories
• Ability to troubleshoot installation-related problems
• Understanding of airflow and static pressure
• Ability to properly commission HVAC equipment
• Knowledge of refrigerant charging and electrical troubleshooting
• Understanding of HVAC codes and installation best practices
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to train and hold installers accountable
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• EPA certification preferred
• Professional appearance and attitude
