Job Description:
In this role, you'll lead the way in preparing and sending quotations to our Government Customers and handle subsequent requests for information. You will work with customers, suppliers, and internal team members to ensure quotations are compliant, products are priced accordingly, and company quality procedures are followed.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Solicitation Management: Monitor government portals and communication channels to identify, download, and review RFQs and solicitations.
- Strategic Sourcing: Request supplier quotations, ensuring all contractual "flow-down" requirements (including certifications and T&Cs) are clearly communicated and met.
- Collaboration and Analysis: Partner with internal departments to validate customer needs and review supplier bids for technical and commercial completeness.
- Cost and Pricing: Prepare comprehensive cost/pricing data and formal quotations for submission to government customers.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with both suppliers and customers regarding pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure optimal project outcomes.
- Due Diligence: Proactively identify potential bottlenecks or compliance risks, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership when issues need escalation.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a rigorous follow-up process to maximize capture rates and ensure timely awards.
Required Skills:
- Industry Expertise: Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Aviation Supply Chain (ideally in Subcontracts or Material Program Management).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of ITAR/EAR export regulations and experience with various contract types (Firm Fixed Price and Cost Type).
- Contractual Literacy: Proficient in managing contract flow-through requirements and complex Terms & Conditions.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced, confident user of Quantum ERP software or equivalent Aviation ERP. Knowledge of Teams and SharePoint, or advanced CRM.
- Professionalism: Proven ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines in high-pressure environments, and maintain extreme attention to detail.

- Aviation Procurement
- Government Contract Bidding
- Aviation Sales Experience
