Located on the picturesque Emerald Coast in Shalimar, Florida, near Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field, AFEV offers independent living accommodations at Bob Hope Village and assisted living and memory care services at Hawthorn House, situated within the Bob Hope Village campus. Role Description
Day shifts and Night Shifts Available- 12 hours
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL), including ambulation, transferring, bathing, dressing and undressing, eating, grooming, and toileting.
Provide laundry and linen services: wash, dry, fold, and return residents’ personal laundry.
Assist with meal service, provide supervision during dining, and ensure a hazard-free environment.
Complete Medication Management and Medication Administration training and fulfill all certification requirements within four (4) months of hire. Once certified, assist residents with safe and accurate self-administration of medications.

1. 6:45 am to 7:00 pm - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
2. 6:45 am to 7:00 pm - Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Night Shifts:
1. 6:45 pm to 7:00 am - Monday, Thursday, Friday
2. 6:45 pm to 7:00 am - Friday, Saturday, Sunday
12-hour shift. Medication Assistant preferred ( $1.50/hr)
