The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is seeking an experienced, Visitor Control Center Technician, (NK-0086-02), at the 45th Security Forces Squadron (SRS) at Patrick Space Force Base (SFB) located in CoCoa Beach, FL. In this position you will process various security related documentation and requests for issuance of identification credentials and restricted area badges.

Salary Range is $40,331 - $65,373 Annually based on experience.

Recruitment Knowledges, Skills, And Abilities (ksa)

• Knowledge of security processes and procedures and general clerical office functions.
• Knowledge of security requirements and processes for obtaining access to controlled areas.
• Knowledge of one or more automated databases associated with a specific security function to support office and security operations and produce a variety of documents and reports.
• Ability to plan and organize work, follow instructions, and accomplish multiple ongoing projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, using a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
• Knowledge of the rights of detained individuals and organizational rules regarding the appropriate use of force to be used in the apprehension of persons.
