The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Supervisory Program Management Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to exercise 1st level supervisory and position management responsibilities over subordinate employees within 402 EMXG/MXDSM. Directs work activities through subordinates with responsibility for maintaining a current knowledge and guiding subordinate employees to provide advice, accountability, and expertise on a continuous basis. Exercises 1st level technical and administrative supervisory personnel management responsibilities for 25% or more of duty time over subordinate employees predominately in the General Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services Group and journey level or higher. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Requirements: Designated drug testing position May be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations. Obtain & maintain a security clearance Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA): 1. Mastery knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support. 2. Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures 3. Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of team building, developing interpersonal relationships, maintaining good working relationships, and leading members as a cooperative team. 4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct, mentor, motivate and appraise the staff of a small to medium (or large) sized organization. 5. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options. 6. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. 7. Ability to utilize Art of the Possible (AoP) concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.

Salary : $89,508 - $138,370
