The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Cloud Service Manager and Planner, GG-2210-13 at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska (NE) in Bellevue, NE.

Salary Range: $107,446 – $146,848 based on experience

This is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) Personnel System position aligned under authorities of Section 1599f, of Title 10, Chapter 81 United States Code and DOD Instruction 1400.25-V3007.
Required 3-year probationary period for new Federal government appointments.

The primary purpose of the position is: To perform senior-level technical cloud service support and provide expert technical analysis for the Cloud and Enterprise Services portfolio within the Future Operations and Plans Division. Provides cloud computing technical expertise, technical assessments, and recommendations to the J65 Future Operations and Plans Division, J6 Director of C4 Systems, and Chief Information Officer staff. Supports the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) by assisting with technical evaluations, monitoring contractor performance, and reviewing deliverables for cloud and enterprise service contracts.
Qualifications/Requirements
U.S. Citizenships Required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance.
Drug Testing: This is a designated Drug Testing Position.
Knowledge of cloud and network technical architecture, including network concepts, security principles, and methods for integrating cloud solutions into existing environments.
Skill in technical planning and requirements analysis to translate mission needs into actionable technical tasks and short-to mid-range implementation activities.
Ability to identify and analyze complex operational requirements and apply established policies, standards, and security requirements to cloud and network systems.
Knowledge of risk management processes, including methods for assessing and mitigating operational and technical risks in cloud environments.
Skill in collaborating and coordinating with stakeholders to gain acceptance of technical recommendations and ensure consistent application of established procedures.
Knowledge of financial and acquisition support processes, including cost-benefit analysis and assisting the COR with technical evaluations and contractor performance monitoring.
Ability to analyze cloud cost and usage data to identify consumption trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for optimization.
