Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage, track, and optimize our inventory. You will ensure accurate stock levels, maintain efficient processes, and support various departments in inventory management and organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily inventory processes and procedures
- Manage and improve inventory systems and databases under the direction of the Resource Manager
- Conduct cycle counts across multiple departments
- Establish and manage a centralized return and warranty inventory location
- Analyze inventory reports and ordering patterns to maintain optimal stock levels
- Track and monitor purchase orders for inventory replenishment
- Schedule and complete quarterly or biannual cleaning and organization of service technician vehicles
- Assist with company-wide physical inventory counts
- Receive, organize, and stock incoming inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with warehouse staff, purchasing teams, vendors, and management
- Basic knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and inventory management systems
- Highly organized and able to work independently
- Ability to develop positive professional relationships
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks
- Team-oriented with collaboration skills across departments
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain management preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, and move objects (10–70 lbs.) for extended periods
- Ability to climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch
- Occasional sitting for extended periods
