What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Auditor position at Retail Inventory Service?
Retail Inventory Services is looking for detail-oriented and self-motivated individuals to join our fast-growing company. A Retail inventory Service (RIS) team member travels to various retail stores (convenience, grocery, liquor) and uses our specialized equipment to count inventory of the store merchandise directly from the store shelves. Inventories are done with crews of 2-4 team members, depending on store size. Our workday begins early, with most shifts starting before 7:00 AM.
This crew covers a large portion of the state of Montana. There is a significant amount of travel involved. Hotel stays are common. A four-night trip to Helena and Great Falls happens every other month, and a two- or three-night trip servicing customers in Glasgow, Havre and Glendive happens every other month. Approximately half of our jobs are in Billings, with the rest spread over Eastern and Central Montana, Sheridan, WY and Buffalo WY.
Hours will vary each day, as we are done when the job is completed.
Retail Inventory Services provide paid training and advancement opportunities for those seeking a career with a great company. Basic computer skills and 10-key experience are a plus.
