What You'll Work On:
- Conduct client consultations and develop case strategy
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials
- Maintain proactive, consistent communication with clients and the team
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to deliver strong client service
- Manage family law matters independently from intake through resolution
- Build a personal book of business while contributing to firm growth
What We're Looking For:
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing
- Demonstrated experience handling family law matters from consultation through resolution
- An existing family law book of business (preferred)
- Strong courtroom and negotiation skills
- Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities
- Outstanding organization, time management, and attention to detail
- A compassionate, client-centered approach and a collaborative, team-first mindset
