Litigation Associate (General Liability / Civil Defense)

Our client, a well-established litigation firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its Dallas-area office. This role focuses on general civil defense litigation, offering hands-on responsibility and consistent case management experience.
What You’ll Work On:
- Handling general civil litigation matters, including:
- Auto and transportation liability
- Premises liability and slip & fall claims
- Managing cases from inception through resolution
- Taking and defending depositions
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation filings
- Participating in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Reporting to insurance carriers and clients throughout the lifecycle of a case
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–6 years of litigation experience (defense-side preferred)
- Experience with general liability matters such as auto, transportation, and premises liability
- Ability to independently manage a caseload
- Strong writing and advocacy skills
- Experience billing in standard increments and working with carrier guidelines
- Deposition and case-handling experience required
