Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Clinical Nurse Specialist, based in Tampa, FL, with the flexibility to perform some work remotely. In this role, you will deliver clinical expertise, support deployment of Tempshield remote temperature monitoring device, and engage in patient and family education about the importance of remote monitoring . Additional responsibilities include collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to the development of best practice protocols, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in patient care, clinical assessment, and developing comprehensive care plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Proficient understanding of evidence-based practice, clinical research, and healthcare policy
- Experience in monitoring patient outcomes, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with healthcare standards
- Advanced problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with infection prevention and control practices is a plus
- oncology experience / OCN preferred
- BSN required
