Job Summary

Ainsworth Inc. is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager, HVAC Services to join our team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, focusing on HVAC service and maintenance contracts. In addition to managing the full sales cycle for both the mechanical service and mechanical construction departments—from initial prospecting and proposal development to pricing, negotiation, and closing—the candidate will also have immediate access to Ainsworth’s active and robust lead pipeline, enabling accelerated engagement with qualified prospects and faster conversion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading contract negotiations and securing new service agreements
  • Conducting site assessments and presenting customized HVAC solutions
  • Preparing accurate and competitive pricing proposals
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships across commercial and industrial sectors
  • Collaborating with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and contributing to regional growth initiatives
  • Leveraging Ainsworth’s lead pipeline to drive immediate sales activity and expand market reach

Qualifications

  • Experience in HVAC Service and Mechanical Construction Sectors
  • Mechanical drawings skills and background preferred
  • Sales experience specifically in the HVAC industry is preferred
  • Relevant certifications in HVAC or a related field
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM experience a plus
  • Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to develop tailored HVAC solutions by conducting thorough site assessments, analyzing client-specific operational needs, and designing customized service plans that optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability. This includes recommending appropriate maintenance schedules, equipment upgrades, and integration strategies aligned with client budgets and sustainability goals.

Salary -- $75,000 - $100,000
