Welding Inspector

• Perform visual inspections of structural steel fabrication, welding, and bolting in accordance with AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) standards.
• Conduct material identification, verification, and sampling of unidentified steel.
• Prepare detailed reports and related documentation following best engineering practices and applicable building codes.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and within established timelines.
• Follow and promote safe working practices at all times.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• ICC Structural Steel & Welding Special Inspector and ICC Structural Steel & Bolting Special Inspector certifications are highly desirable.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of welding inspection experience preferred.
• Current and active CWI and ICC certifications in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for completing reports using company templates.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding at construction sites.
• English language proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) required.
