Mechanical Project Manager

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Mechanical & Plumbing Project Manager with strong HVAC and plumbing design skills. This role includes managing projects across multiple sectors (municipal, education, medical, federal, private), leading client relationships, and mentoring a design team.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead mechanical/plumbing design projects from kickoff to construction completion.
• Prepare complete, biddable construction documents.
• Serve as primary client contact; ensure quality delivery within budget and schedule.
• Prepare and support proposals for various market sectors.

Client Development

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Attend industry events to support business development.

Team Development

• Supervise, mentor, and train assigned design team members.

Required Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in HVAC & Plumbing design and project management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to new codes, tools, and technologies.
• Passion for mentorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex systems and sectors such as data centers, medical, K-12, and municipal projects.
• Experience in proposal writing and client development.
• LEED certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (CA).
