Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Mechanical & Plumbing Project Manager with strong HVAC and plumbing design skills. This role includes managing projects across multiple sectors (municipal, education, medical, federal, private), leading client relationships, and mentoring a design team.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead mechanical/plumbing design projects from kickoff to construction completion.
- Prepare complete, biddable construction documents.
- Serve as primary client contact; ensure quality delivery within budget and schedule.
- Prepare and support proposals for various market sectors.
Client Development
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Attend industry events to support business development.
Team Development
- Supervise, mentor, and train assigned design team members.
Required Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in HVAC & Plumbing design and project management.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to new codes, tools, and technologies.
- Passion for mentorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with complex systems and sectors such as data centers, medical, K-12, and municipal projects.
- Experience in proposal writing and client development.
- LEED certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer (CA).
