Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures across various surfaces, floors, carpets, and appliances using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, outdoor work, and moving furniture or appliances safely and effectively.
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchens by cleaning surfaces, appliances, and ensuring proper sanitation; assist with light cooking tasks if required.
- Utilize proper janitorial and custodial techniques to ensure all areas meet health standards and client specifications.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs, provide updates on service completion, and address any concerns promptly.
Experience
- Prior residential cleaning or housekeeping experience is highly preferred; experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, dusting methods, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete scheduled tasks within designated periods while maintaining quality standards.
- Experience in outdoor work environments or outdoor cleaning projects is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations and feedback.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely; comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
