The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills while maintaining composure in high-pressure situations. This position plays a key role in upholding company standards and delivering exceptional overnight service experiences.
Key Skills/Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Front Desk and Night Audit staff to ensure efficient overnight operations.
- Address and resolve guest requests, complaints, and incidents promptly and professionally.
- Monitor room revenue, occupancy, and rate efficiency to optimize nightly performance.
- Oversee the accuracy of audit reports, financial reconciliations, and cash handling.
- Train, coach, and evaluate front office employees to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and safety procedures.
- Review payroll, schedules, and productivity reports in coordination with management.
- Maintain effective communication across departments to ensure operational consistency.
- Participate in Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts and emergency response procedures as needed.
- 3 years of progressive hotel or related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows-based systems and front office software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and demonstrate integrity in handling sensitive information.
