Responsible for daily operational execution and financial control of banquet functions.
- Manages daily banquet operations to ensure events are executed in accordance with BEOs, timelines, and brand standards
- Supervises, schedules, and trains banquet associates in compliance with union agreements and Aimbridge policies
- Coordinates with Sales, Culinary, Stewarding, and Engineering to ensure event readiness and accuracy
- Manages staffing levels, labor productivity, and real-time operational adjustments
- Maintains a consistent, visible presence during events to ensure service standards are met
- Ensures compliance with service, safety, sanitation, and loss-prevention standards
- Provides oversight, review, and final accountability for banquet event check processing and posting in CI/TY
- Reviews posted event checks for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with approved BEOs
- Communicates discrepancies, adjustments, or billing issues to Sales and Accounting in a timely manner
- Escalates operational or financial concerns to the Banquet Director as appropriate
- Work with Banquet Captains ensuring Stewarding Pull sheets are completed for every event and given to Stewarding supervisor for execution
- Work with Director of Banquets ensuring accurate Quarterly Inventory of China, Glass & Silver is completed
- Work with Kitchen team and Banquet Captains / Stewarding team ensuring a food recovery program to reduce FC is in place and followed
- Works with Banquet Captains ensuring a consistent Pre-shift meeting takes place and standardizes the shift ensuring the team knows Client, menus, agenda and hot buttons
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or as operational needs require

- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of progressive hotel or related experience; supervisory experience required
- Proficient in Windows operating systems
- Strong communication skills; able to convey information clearly and listen effectively to coworkers and guests
- Skilled at problem-solving, including anticipating, identifying, and resolving workplace issues under pressure
- Capable of assimilating and analyzing complex information from multiple sources and making quick, accurate decisions
- Comfortable working with financial data and performing basic arithmetic functions
