Key Skills/Responsibilities
- Supervisory Skills: Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring all associates fulfull their job functions appropriately.
- Culinary Knowledge: Support food and beverage service operations and maintain culinary supplies
- Cost and Quality Control: Analyze costs, breakage, and quality support for various kitchen areas.
- Safety and Compliance: Educate associates on safety issues and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communication and Leadership: Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner and maintain open communication with other departments.
- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Ensure the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness in all facilities and equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in kitchen operations or a similar field, including a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service operations is preferred.
- Complies with certification requirements as applicable for position to include: Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid
- Ability to acquire Food Manager Certification as required by applicable state regulations.
