Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role located in Chicago, IL. The Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the property’s physical operations, including preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Primary tasks include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical work. The role will also involve responding promptly to guest support requests, prioritizing safety protocols, and working collaboratively with the hotel team to maintain a high standard of facility care.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance operations, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field is a plus
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality maintenance preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
