Aimé Leon Dore is looking for a SVP/VP, Marketing to join our team in New York, New York, reporting directly to the CEO. The SVP/VP, Marketing is responsible for leading and evolving Aimé Leon Dore's global marketing strategy — connecting creative vision, cultural relevance, and commercial performance. Reporting directly to the Founder & Creative Director, this role oversees all facets of brand storytelling, campaign development, partnerships, and communications.
The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with creative intuition, bringing a deep understanding of both brand-building and the cultural drivers that shape the modern luxury landscape.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute ALD's long-term brand and marketing strategy in alignment with business goals and creative direction.
- Translate creative concepts into clear marketing initiatives that elevate the brand and drive measurable results.
- Partner cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, Retail, and Digital teams to ensure cohesion across channels.
- Campaigns & Content
- Oversee the global marketing calendar, ensuring the timely and cohesive rollout of seasonal campaigns, collaborations, and product launches.
- Partner with creative teams on concept development, production, and storytelling to ensure all assets reflect ALD's aesthetic and values.
- Manage seeding programs, PR activations, press releases, and events that strengthen brand visibility and engagement.
- Partnerships & Community
- Lead the strategy for brand collaborations, cultural partnerships, and community initiatives.
- Develop opportunities that authentically extend ALD's presence in fashion, sport, and culture.
- Performance & Budget Management
- Manage the marketing P&L and oversee all budget planning, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business priorities.
- Leverage data, insights, and performance metrics to optimize strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure accountability for ROI across campaigns, content, and channel investments.
- Team Development & Culture
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing organization.
- Set clear objectives, guide professional development, and foster a culture of collaboration and creativity.
- Drive alignment and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, ideally within luxury, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
- Proven success developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across retail, digital, and experiential channels.
- Strong understanding of brand positioning, storytelling, and cultural impact.
- Demonstrated financial acumen, with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or multilingual ability preferred.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000
