Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care and support to our client in their Miramar home. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing the daily lives of our clients by ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Help with mobility and support client in transfers from beds, chairs, and other seating
- Ensure client's safety and comfort at all times
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding the client
- Provide companionship by engaging in conversation or recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment by performing routine housekeeping tasks
- Follow specific care plans tailored to the client’s needs
- Record daily care notes of the client’s condition and reporting any significant changes to the care manager
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Communicate efficiently with client families and healthcare professionals
- Valid Florida HHA certification (75 hours minimum)
- Current CPR certification
- Successful completion of a Level 2 background check or willingness to obtain one
- Reliable transportation and a strong commitment to punctuality
- Previous experience in a home health setting preferred, but not essential for the right candidate
- Possess a caring and responsive demeanor, prioritizing the client’s needs
- Ability to work both morning and evening shifts from Monday through Friday
