We are seeking a highly organized and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting and be proficient with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive patient information.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling using electronic scheduling systems.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in EPIC EMR.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with prior authorizations as needed.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate with multiple providers and specialty practices to ensure smooth office operations.
• Handle confidential patient information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
• Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
  
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC (Electronic Medical Records) - REQUIRED
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High level of professionalism and discretion.
• Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and MS Office 360.
• Experience working in a multi-provider or specialty practice.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
