What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at AID of Indiana?
Roles & Responsibilities:
Reports to Office Manager
● Opens and closes expected hours of operation Mon-Fri 9am-4:30pm
● Greets guests upon arrival
● Make sure appropriate entities sign in
● Water plants
● Walk guests to the appropriate meeting room if applicable
● Makes sure all deliveries go to the appropriate admin
● Answering the phone and transferring calls to the appropriate admin
● Maintain excessive missed calls (3 or more)
● Informing admin by email or Google Chat of a missed call, mail, message taken
● Use a telephone headset when away from front desk
● Takes detailed messages for appropriate admin
● Answers emails within 24-48 hours
● Scans and makes copies when needed for Employees
● Makes sure the waiting area stays stocked with business cards, newsletters, calendars, and other
appropriate business material
● Able to assist admin while staying in the reception area
● Keeps office presentable, including but not
limited to Dusting

Disinfectig
Kitchen-et
Mop and Clean Bathrooms on Tuesdays and Thursdays
● Demonstrates AID culture, Motto, Mission Statement, and Customer Service Promise.
● Oversight to make sure all conference room are presentable after and before meetings (dusting, vacuum,
disinfecting, stocked)
● Assisting with scheduling conference rooms
● Collect trash at the end of the day
● Weekly checks outside the perimeter of the office for trash (cigarette buds, cardboard, napkins, etc.)
● Help departments scan files
● Assist with activities and parties as needed
● Must be able to lift 50lbs
● All other duties assigned
Preferred Skills:
- Organized; Ability to Multitask; and Basic Computer skills
- Has experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, Valid Driver’s License; and Current Auto Insurance.
