Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and developing new projects from concept to launch, ensuring all deadlines are met and customer requirements are fully satisfied. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Food Safety, Procurement, and external partners to guarantee accurate label setup, packaging materials development, box configuration, and full customer compliance.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management
- Lead and coordinate new product development projects from initiation to commercial launch.
- Build and manage project timelines to ensure all milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Track progress and proactively address delays or potential risks.
- Act as the main point of contact between internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth communication across Sales, Operations, Food Safety, and Procurement teams.
2. Label & Packaging Development
- Coordinate label setup, artwork development, and approval processes.
- Ensure all labels meet regulatory and customer-specific compliance requirements.
- Manage packaging materials development, including primary packaging and master cases.
- Oversee box configuration, specifications, and material setup.
- Verify accuracy of product information, barcodes, nutritional panels, and claims.
3. Customer Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with customer specifications and retailer requirements.
- Coordinate documentation required for customer onboarding and product launches.
- Maintain organized records of approvals, specifications, and compliance documentation.
4. Marketing Support
- Assist in product positioning and launch materials.
- Coordinate marketing assets related to new product introductions.
- Support communication between Sales and Marketing for customer presentations.
- Assist with product data sheets, presentations, and promotional materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in project management, marketing support, or packaging/label coordination.
- Experience in food manufacturing or CPG industry is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
