Architectural Designer / Architectural Associate / Architectural Staff

MBX Architecture is seeking an enthusiastic full-time Project Designer / Architecture Associate with a passion for design and a desire to grow with a small, collaborative architecture firm. This position provides opportunities for growth, mentorship, flexibility, and contributions to the full design process in a collaborative positive work environment.

• You are proficient in Revit and enjoy developing your architectural drawing and technical skills.
• You have 0-6 years of experience working at an architectural firm.
• You enjoy hand sketching or want to get better at it for conceptual design.
• You want opportunities to work directly with the Principal, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• You are interested in growing your role and taking on greater responsibility as your experience develops.
• You are working toward your architectural license or are interested in pursuing licensure.

What You'll Be Doing In This Role

• Working with the Principal and Project Manager throughout the design process, including construction administration.
• Developing details and architectural documents using Revit.
• Developing design concepts, presentations, sketches, and architectural solutions.
• Communicating with clients, consultants, and contractors to develop designs that fit the scope, schedule, and budget.
• Producing high-quality architectural drawings that communicate the design intent and scope of the project.
• Selecting finishes and materials and helping develop interior design concepts.
• Using your knowledge of codes, materials, and sustainable design to develop high-quality projects.

Salary Range

• $55,000-70,000 a year
• Compensation will be based upon qualifications and experience
