About this role
Software engineer, the AI-native operating system for institutional capital. You'll build what our clients run their investment offices on: LLM systems over hundreds of thousands of fund documents, AI agents that finish real analyst work end to end, and the product surface that ties it together. The stack is Python, React/TypeScript, AWS, Postgres, and MongoDB. You own problems whole, from scoping through deployment to the client relationship; there's no PM, EM, or QA between you and the outcome. We build AI-first, meaning AI writes most of our code while engineers design the systems, direct the agents, and answer for everything that ships. Full-time, in person in Seattle.
Salary
$130K–$170K base, set by experience, plus 0.6%–1% equity at pre-Series A.
The package is deliberately equity-weighted, and we'll be straight about the trade: if you're optimizing for cash compensation, a large company will beat this offer, and you should take theirs. The equity is founding-engineer scale at a company with ~$1M ARR, zero customer churn, and a raise ahead of it; if you understand early-stage risk/reward, that's the part of the package to price.
