Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Telemetry Unit.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to cardiac changes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in telemetry, cardiac, or critical care preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
