Primary Purpose
The Partnership Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing integrated media and partnership marketing initiatives across brands to drive efficient, measurable growth. This role supports portfolio level media strategy by partnering closely with the media agency and cross functional teams to balance centralized best practices with individual brand needs, and manages the affiliate and influencer technology and performance. The manager contributes to the development and execution of strategies that increase brand awareness, drive qualified traffic, and support customer acquisition goals. Through disciplined performance management and strong collaboration with internal and external partners, this role delivers measurable marketing solutions that support brand equity and near-term business results.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Chicago, IL.

Duties & Responsilbilities
- Lead the execution of integrated media and partnership initiatives across brands by collaborating with the media agency of record and internal teams to deliver efficient, performance‑driven programs
- Contribute to media planning and investment decisions by providing brand‑level recommendations that support ROI goals while aligning to portfolio‑level strategy and guardrails
- Support the evolution and execution of in‑house performance channels, including influencer and affiliate, by translating strategy into operational plans and optimization actions.
- Serve as a primary cross‑functional partner to brand marketing, digital merchandising, product, analytics, and UX teams to ensure cohesive, customer‑centric execution.
- Apply established measurement frameworks and performance benchmarks (e.g., iROAS, CPA, attribution) to evaluate results, identify optimization opportunities, and inform next steps.
- Manage vendor and platform relationships, including MarTech and AdTech tools, ensuring compliance, data privacy, and effective day‑to‑day performance in partnership with Legal, IT, and Procurement
- Evaluate and test new partners, platforms, and capabilities, providing performance insights and recommendations to support future scaling decisions
- Directly manage and develop Specialists supporting affiliate and influencer programs by setting priorities, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring high‑quality, on‑time execution aligned to channel goals.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of integrated media and partnership marketing, including influencer, affiliate, and broader digital performance channels, with an understanding of industry best practices
- Proficiency across digital marketing tactics, performance measurement, and optimization approaches, with the ability to apply insights to improve results
- Working knowledge of digital analytics tools, ad tech platforms, and marketing attribution methodologies, with comfort partnering with analytics teams to interpret data
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for performance analysis, reporting, and presentations
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across internal teams and external partners, including agencies and vendors
- Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills, with the ability to balance business needs, performance goals, and brand standards
- Ability to translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for both working teams and leadership audiences
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, ensuring initiatives, documentation, and deliverables are consistently executed and communicated
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment, building trust and productive relationships with brand partners and stakeholders
- Results‑driven mindset with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver outcomes through collaboration and team leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent
- Ability to plan, execute, measure, and report on multiple campaigns to multiple partners per day
- Ability to work effectively with partners at home and in office whenever needed
- 8 years of experience in digital marketing, media strategy, or partnerships; at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven track record of managing large media budgets, agency/vendor relationships, and omnichannel marketing campaigns.
- Experience working in/with fast-paced, multi-brand organizations preferred.
