Job Posting Location: Remote - USA Job Title: Workday Systems Administrator Job Description: Position Summary: The Workday Systems Administrator within the Technology Group is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of agilon health’s Workday platform - with a focus on Workday HCM and Financials modules. This role ensures system reliability, data integrity and performance across the Workday platform. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Workday configuration and security administration with an understanding of operational business processes. The Workday Systems Administrator collaborates closely with HR, Finance, Audit and IT stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that streamline workflows, improve data quality, and support strategic decision-making Essential Job Functions: System Administration & Support (60%) Administer, configure, and maintain Workday HCM and Financials modules. Document system configuration changes in accordance with change management policies. Oversee tenant management activities including migration of configurations, tenant refreshes and release management. Perform security administration tasks such as managing security groups, role assignments, domain and business process security policies, ensuring alignment with IT governance policies and procedures. Cross-Functional Collaboration (30%) Serve as a liaison between Technology, Finance, HR, Audit and other departments to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll and Finance to review semi-annual release features. Assist with impact assessment and rollout planning. Reporting & Integrations (10%) Develop and maintain custom reports/dashboards for various business stakeholders. Support Workday integrations with third-party systems such as benefit providers and banking interfaces. Regularly monitor and troubleshoot integrations Manage schedule extensions for integrations, reports & alerts Required Qualifications: Minimum Experience 8 years of total experience with 3-6 years of experience administering or implementing Workday (HCM and/or Financials) Deep understanding of Workday security and business process framework Experience with Workday integration tools (EIBs and Packaged Integrations) Familiarity with change management, release testing, and governance frameworks Familiarity with IT Audit procedures; such as User Access Reviews and Change Monitoring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field Nice to Have Experience: Workday HCM Modules Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent Optimization, Learning Workday Studio, BIRT, Composite Reporting Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to manage complex system configurations and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Location: Remote - OH Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $122,600.00 Salary range shown is a guideline. Individual compensation packages can vary based on factors unique to each candidate, such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.
