About the Role: Ahearn Equipment is seeking a driven, results-oriented Outside Salesperson to lead our new Hyundai Construction Equipment sales expansion in New Hampshire. This is a rare opportunity to take on an exclusive Hyundai dealership territory and build a high-growth customer base from the ground up.
As an Outside Salesperson, you will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, and driving equipment sales growth. With an existing market where there is already a huge population of Hyundai machines, the potential is huge! You’ll have the backing of a strong dealership, industry-leading support, and an exclusive Hyundai presence in NH.
What You’ll Do:
Develop & Execute a Sales Strategy – Identify high-potential customers and aggressively pursue new business.
Expand Hyundai Market Share – Work within an exclusive New Hampshire sales territory to build relationships with contractors, municipalities, and fleet owners.
Manage the Full Sales Cycle – Prospect, present, negotiate, and close deals on Hyundai and other construction equipment.
Collaborate with Internal Teams – Work alongside service, parts, and finance teams to ensure smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction.
Maximize Existing Hyundai Machine Owners – Capitalize on the opportunity presented by the high number of Hyundai machines already in the NH market.
Build Long-Term Customer Relationships – Provide top-tier service and support to establish Ahearn Equipment as the go-to Hyundai dealer in NH.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven sales experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery, or a related field.
Strong business development mindset – ability to find and close new deals.
Excellent customer relationship skills – ability to connect with and support contractors, municipalities, and business owners.
Experience working in an outside sales role – self-driven and comfortable managing your own sales pipeline.
Industry knowledge of construction equipment brands & financing options is a plus.
