AHEAD’s ServiceNow Solutions Engineers are the technical experts that collaborate with our AHEAD account teams to help identify, qualify, and build solutions that support our customer’s Digital Business transformation. The AHEAD ServiceNow Solutions Engineer (SSE) will be focused on ServiceNow modules across the board. The SSE is considered a subject matter expert in these areas with responsibility for selling and designing complex solutions. The SSE is also considered an organizational thought leader for their specialty area. ResponsibilitiesActive participation in the AHEAD SSE and service delivery teamsBe a thought leader for AHEAD clients, responsible for designing, architecting technical solutions Support the sales teams during engagements by providing advice and solutions or proposals optimized to meet customer technical and business requirementsDevelop relationships with other ServiceNow SSE team members, leaders, and partners in support of sales objectivesStrategize and execute technical sales callsComplete required pre-sales documentation (configurations, pricing, services, presentations, justifications, etc.) quickly and accuratelyQualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, decision-making process, and fundingPresent and market the design and value of proposed AHEAD solutions and business justification to customers, prospects, and AHEAD managementParticipate in the mentorship of entry-level team membersPossess strong, detailed product/technology/industry knowledgeKnowledge of job-associated software and applicationsTravel required up to 30%QualificationsExpertise as a consultant for clients, advising on technical solutions and participating in pre-sales and solution developmentExpertise in at least one ServiceNow moduleStrong functional knowledge of the ServiceNow platform across multiple modulesITIL Foundations v3 or higher certification and/or working knowledge of ITIL conceptsWorking knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologyPassion for problem-solving to solution sellingKnowledge of web development or mobile app development, business modeling, database concepts and project management – preferably using Agile Development MethodologiesExceptional oral, written and presentation skills, with ability to organize and present technical material in an easily understood mannerDeep insight on technical architectures, IT products and product positioning. ServiceNow certifications and accreditations are strongly desiredExperience on other SaaS platforms such as: Tanium, Atlassian, Big Panda, Splunk, Data Dog, Logic Monitor, etcUnderstanding of JavaScript, HTML and libraries/frameworks such AngularJS, jQuery, Prototype and bootstrap fundamentals a plusExperience with monitoring solutions, end point collection, IoT, machine learning and other emerging technologies a plusUnderstanding of web services (e.g. SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML) a plusCollege degree (or equivalent experience) in the fields of Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, or related disciplineThe compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount.
