Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and food handling to support quick service operations in a fast-paced environment
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales and enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed, ensuring smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or serving in the food industry is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
