What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Yard Handler position at AGY Transport?
Requirements for A.G.Y. Transport Yard Handler are as follows but not limited to;
Hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm; unless its really busy and you need to stay longer.
Must have good communication skills and organization skills; you will be working closely with our dispatcher, drivers and mechanic shop.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license.
Must be insurable because you will have to run parts some days.
Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.
You will be responsible for keeping trucks clean, checking all fluids, lights, tire pressure etc. Basically making sure trucks are ready to roll out on short notice.
