Duties
- Assist with the installation of irrigation systems using hand tools and power tools
- Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and leveling soil with equipment like excavators or manual tools
- Plant plants and trees
- Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping machinery such as excavators and power tools
- Experience with lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, and horticulture practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools for various construction tasks
- Knowledge of tree and plant care including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
- Ability to follow safety procedures while working with construction equipment and during landscaping activities
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems, and hardscape installation
