Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist/Payroll clerk to join our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between management and employees, ensuring that our human capital management strategies align with organizational goals. You will oversee a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. Your energetic approach and strategic mindset will help foster a positive work environment, promote employee engagement, and support organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding processes to attract top talent.
- Administer employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the organization and understand company policies and culture.
- Manage employee evaluation processes by facilitating performance management initiatives, providing feedback, and supporting career development plans.
- Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits to ensure compliance and optimal employee satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
- Handle employee relations issues by mediating conflicts, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions to foster a positive workplace environment.
- Support change management initiatives by assisting with organizational design, workforce management strategies, and strategic planning efforts.
- Utilize HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) for data collection, reporting, and record keeping to streamline HR operations.
- Coordinate training & development programs to enhance employee skills and promote continuous learning across the organization.
- Ensure accurate data entry for all HR records while maintaining confidentiality and data security standards using platforms.
- Support administrative functions including contract management, payroll processing , and social media management for employer branding.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management or related fields with a comprehensive understanding of human capital management practices.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law regulations such as FMLA.
- Demonstrated ability in change management strategies and organizational design principles to support business growth.
- Experience in talent acquisition including recruiting; familiarity with sourcing techniques via social media platforms is preferred.
- Skilled in employee orientation programs, performance evaluation processes, training & development initiatives, and succession planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle conflict management effectively while fostering positive employee relations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management tools; organized with strong attention to detail for data collection and record keeping.
- Administrative experience supporting HR and work along side Payroll department.
