Job Description Summary
As the Box Office Manager, the candidate will manager all box office operations and ticket sales throughout Agua Caliente Casinos. This position will oversee the sales through multiple venues, as well as the creation and management of all events in the ticketing system. The candidate must have the ability to build, manage and track all components of the live event build including but not limited to; local and national VIP programs, Ticketmaster Platinum and TM . Additionally, the candidate must be extremely proficient in Ticketmaster Host and TM1 Sales. The candidate will also work to ensure all reporting and settlements are presented accurately to the responsible Entertainment Manager, entertainment agency responsible agent and property finance team. The ability to effectively manage multiple projects, as well as ability to multitask and pivot easily as business demands will be essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Oversee the daily operations of the box office including event builds, ticket sales, and guest inquiries
- Work with Entertainment Managers to properly schedule staff at all three properties as required
- Utilize ticketing platform to sell, distribute and manage inventory
- Management of Entertainment Cashiers including but not limited to training, scheduling and performance reviews
- Ensure accurate show settlements and coordinate reporting with finance team
- Work with Entertainment Marketing Manager and Director of Entertainment to analyze trending reports and address any marketing and sales concerns which could assist team to drive sales
- Work with tour managers and talent agencies to ensure they are receiving sales reports as requested
- Implement and enforce box office policies and procedures
- Strategically create plans and partner with marketing teams to optimize and leverage results
- Provide excellent guest service.
- Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications:Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED required, B.A. in Marketing, Hospitality or Theater Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Box Office management including managing a 5-person or larger team
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Ticketmaster Host and TM1 sales ticketing platforms
- Must be extremely proficient in building local and national VIP programs
- Proficient in monitoring and managing Ticketmaster Platinum and TM Resale programs
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working with national tours and promoters, actual tour experience is preferred
- Experience in working with third-party resale platforms is preferred
- Previous casino/gaming experience is preferred
- Previous experience working in or managing an A-list venue is preferred
- Previous experience in working with the major talent agencies, Live Nation and AEG is required
- Must have excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to work with all departments and have excellent customer relation skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiar with Mac OS and current Windows platforms.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment as well as temperature extremes experienced in outdoor venues.
Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
