POSITION SUMMARY
The Truck and Auto Location Manager coordinates the day-to-day activities of the shop and is responsible for the employees, profit/loss reports and inventory. This work would include managing customer relationships, budgeting, profit and loss, stewardship, team building, and managing staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Works to ensure scheduled and walk-in repairs are assigned to the correct mechanic or service technician.
- Responsible for monitoring and achieving the location’s profit and loss goals.
- Works directly with the bookkeeper and service staff to ensure inventory is current and weekly counts have been completed.
- Approves timecards in a timely manner. Monitors and approves shop and bookkeeping staff’s paid time off requests.
- Works with the Truck and Auto Division Manager to resolve any employee concerns or issues. Responsible for the location’s employee goals and performance evaluations.
- Works with Truck and Auto Division Manager to maintain appropriated staffing levels for the location and hires appropriately while placing candidates in positions of best fit.
- Ensures building and site maintenance is completed.
- Coach and motivate team members to meet performance standards through coaching, feedback, goal setting, communicating and maintaining fair and consistent application of policies and practices.
- Provide leadership in managing team performance, including setting measurable goals, tracking metrics, and holding employees accountable.
- Works with Safety Department to ensure all OSHA and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) standards are being met. Responsible for compliance of all location employees in completion of required safety, IT, and general training.
- Complies with US DOT drug or breath alcohol testing requirements, the Agtegra Drug Free Workplace Policy, OSHA regulations, and the Agtegra Vehicle Policy and Fleet Safety Program.
- Completes all Agtegra Truck logs and DOT truck logs; maintains driver log per I.C.C. regulations
- Inspects all assigned trucks for defects/safety hazards before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition. (Pre/Post – Trip Inspections)
- Performs basic clean-up and preventative maintenance on all assigned trucks and other shop duties along with various plant operation and general maintenance and housekeeping
- Delivers product and services to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Submit accurate sales tickets and completes required records and paperwork daily.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Understands all DOT rules and regulations and reports any unsafe conditions.
- Knowledge of management and supervisory principles and practices, including program planning, contract requirements, budgeting, direction, coordination, and evaluation.
- Knowledge of management and supervisory practices and principles, including the ability to make final employment recommendations, preparing performance evaluations, managing time off, and maintaining personnel records.
- Knowledge of uses of equipment and materials and how to handle properly and appropriately.
- Knowledge of Agtegra’s operating requirements, policies, procedures, and practices; and local, state, and federal regulations related to department programs and operations.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of budgeting and fiscal management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS .
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate's degree (A. A.) and 1-5 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- English Proficiency
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Basic computer knowledge

- Two (2) years Automotive, Truck, or Tire Service leadership experience
