What are the responsibilities and job description for the Notifications Specialist position at AGS, LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, control, and manage business operations to meet customer expectations and company goals.
- Thorough understanding of how to interpret regulatory shipping rules for the various products shipped to customers.
- Review Microsoft Business Central cues to ensure notifications are sent to comply with regulatory requirements and desired delivery dates.
- Ensure each order has the correct shipping addresses for cabinets, software, and hardware.
- Populate the Compliance Notification Date and Software Ship Date on each order requiring notification to be in accordance with the regulatory shipping rules.
- Prepare and distribute shipping notifications to regulators, customers, and AGS Sales, which may include special and complex customer/regulator-supplied forms.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and proactively obtain customer feedback.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Maintains positive and healthy relationships with various teams to ensure customer service effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
- High School or GED required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2 to 3 years of experience preferred.
- General knowledge of ERP and/or CRM systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills: friendly, approachable, and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs.
