Agritek is hiring a Farm Equipment Operator for an established agricultural client in the Robinson, IL area. Our client handles grain, and this role keeps it moving. If you like hands-on work, running equipment and working with a dependable team, we'd like to hear from you.
What you'll do (typical duties):
- Receive, load and unload grain trucks and rail cars
- Run and monitor grain handling equipment such as augers, conveyors, legs and dryers
- Help keep storage bins and the facility clean, organized and safe
- Do basic upkeep and report equipment problems
- Follow safety procedures around grain handling equipment
- Support the team during busy seasons such as harvest
What we're looking for:
- Reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Able to do physical work
- Grain elevator, farm or equipment experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Pay: $21–$22/hr, depending on experience
