Job Summary:
Agri Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery used in agricultural and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in operating equipment in both field and job site environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, trenchers, and other machinery
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, loading, and material handling tasks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions
- Maintain safe operation of equipment in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards
- Assist crew members and support general construction activities as needed
- Load, transport, and place materials as required
- Travel to various job sites as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment required
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
- Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment inspection and maintenance
- Valid driver’s license (required)
Working Conditions:
Work is performed outdoors in agricultural and industrial environments. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, sit or operate equipment for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks when needed.
