Job Summary:
Agri Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in agricultural and industrial environments. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working independently or leading apprentices on job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards
- Supervise and mentor apprentice electricians as needed
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, and electrical controls
- Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment
- Travel to various job sites as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Leadership skills and ability to guide apprentices
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in indoor and outdoor environments, including agricultural facilities, industrial sites, and construction locations. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, climb ladders, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks.
