Agri Beef’s feedyards employ some of the most dedicated people in the business. To ensure our cattle are cared for properly and given a healthy, comfortable environment, our people manufacture and deliver feed, provide care for our animals, maintain our facilities and equipment, and provide administrative support to our teams and customers.
We are looking for a Mechanic at Connell Cattle Feeders in Connell, Washington. As a member of our maintenance team, you will inspect, maintain, and repair automotive and heavy equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Transition our team from a “respond to breakdowns” mentality to a reliability-centered maintenance program mentality
- Order parts and materials needed for the completion of repair and maintenance work
- Maintain sufficient parts inventory to avoid equipment downtime
- Inspect working condition of equipment to ensure proper function
- Perform required vehicle and equipment preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper daily operation of all equipment
- Identify any repairs to be performed by contractors and ensure work is scheduled and completed on time
- Track repairs and work orders using provided software
- Train equipment operators to properly operate and maintain equipment to avoid downtime
- Continuously evaluate the Company’s equipment fleet to be proactive in replacing equipment prior to failure
- Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis
- Perform other related duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
