The Program Manager provides executive leadership and operational oversight for the Community Health Services Division, ensuring continuity, stability, and effective delivery of community-based public health programs during a transition period. The role focuses on maintaining service excellence, advancing health equity initiatives, supporting staff and partners, and aligning divisional operations with public health goals. Program Manager works closely with and reports directly to the Director on strategic and operational matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interim executive leadership to ensure uninterrupted delivery of community health services and programs.
- Oversee planning, implementation, and performance of prevention, health promotion, and community wellness initiatives.
- Manage and support multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and staff engagement during organizational transition.
- Direct fiscal operations, including budget oversight, grant management, and contract compliance across multiple funding streams.
- Ensure adherence to state, and federal public health regulations, policies, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, community-based organizations, healthcare systems, and cross-sector partners to sustain and strengthen public health initiatives.
- Guide data-informed decision-making through program monitoring, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement.
- Represent the division in executive meetings, community forums, and interagency collaborations as needed.
- Advance health equity, community engagement, and culturally responsive practices across all division programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in HIS (Health information Systems), public health, homeless, community health services, or population health programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs, budgets, and teams in a public-sector or community-focused environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
