What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales position at Agilix Solutions?
Agilix Solutions is seeking a Counter Sales professional for our Bartlett, TN branch. This individual will be the “go-to” resource for expertise and knowledge of all product lines, responsible for managing direct customer relationships at our retail counter, and processing of orders in the business system.
This role will report to the Counter Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Servicing our walk-in customers at the sales counter.
- Providing telephone support for counter customers who call in.
- Keeping an accurate accounting of counter order paperwork and petty cash.
- Merchandising efforts at the counter, for example, products displayed, promotional materials and programs, etc.
- Various warehouse responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Comfortable working directly with customers.
- Working knowledge of electrical construction products.
- The ability to sell complimentary products to fill customer needs.
- Ability to multi-task and change direction on a moment’s notice.
- Strong follow-up and follow through skills with face-to-face customers.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
