Agility Partners is seeking a qualified RF Test Engineer to fill an open position with a Fortune 15 company based in the greater Seattle area. The ideal candidate will work hands-on in RF lab environments, executing wireless coexistence and system-level testing to ensure high-quality device performance. This role offers the chance to collaborate with experienced RF engineers, tackle complex wireless challenges, and develop expertise across Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and advanced RF validation technologies.
Responsibilities:
Execute RF coexistence and wireless system-level testing, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and accessory performance validation in controlled lab environments.
Configure devices, test equipment, and automated test systems; collect, analyze, and report test results while identifying performance issues and areas for improvement.
Develop and execute test plans focused on wireless performance, throughput characterization, interoperability, stability, and reconnect scenarios across various environments.
Partner with engineers and vendors to troubleshoot RF issues, analyze logs and packet captures, and support ongoing product validation efforts.
Qualifications:
2 years of hands-on experience working with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and related lab tools.
2 years of experience applying RF fundamentals, including dB measurements, antenna interactions, wireless protocols, and coexistence concepts.
2 years of experience with scripting, automation, or test execution tools using Python, PowerShell, batch scripting, or similar technologies.
Experience using wireless protocol analyzers and sniffers such as Wireshark, Ellisys, Omnipeek, or similar tools.
Familiarity with networking concepts, Windows system configuration, throughput testing tools (such as iPerf), and wireless device troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug RF performance issues and interpret test results.
Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced engineering and testing environment.
Salary : $50 - $68
